Cheryl Cole Reveals “Family plans”

Girls Aloud Singer and X Factor Host Cheryl Cole has revealed that she plans a big family – and wants to make a start soon.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Cheryl says that initially she wanted to start her plans before allegations of her footballer husband Ashley Cole’s cheating ways were revealed. But after much thought and due to all the mounting media attention and her busy schedule, she decided to put her plans on hold.

In the new Girls Aloud book, Dreams That Glitter, serialised in OK! magazine, she says: 

“Family is becoming a priority. I started to think more about having children when I met Ashley. These days there’s no reason why you can’t have a family and a career.

“I’m from a big family and I want a big family and that means I have to make a start soon – so watch this space”

Hmmm….Well good for her; but if he was my husband he would have been LONG gone by now! We wish them luck.

Inside Soap Awards Glamour

The Inside Soaps Awards took place last night and paid notice to some of our best and most loved British Soap Stars. Everybody came out and shone on the red carpt. Eastenders proved to be the nights winners, bagging the Soap of the year award, amoungst others for its stars.

But we here at Gurl About Town wanted to focus on what Really mattered….How the stars looked!

Britney’s Surprise Radio Announcement

 

Britney Spears payed a surprise visit to Radio station Z100 in New York City on Monday. She talked exclusively to DJ JJ about how she was, her new album, Circus, how she is definetly going to tour next year and how she’s happy to be back in New York City.

Janet Jackson rushed to hospital!

Monday night, Janet Jackson had to cancel her tour stop in Montreal, Canada. Paparazzi sources on the scene say an ambulance rushed her to the nearest hospital at around 6.30pm last night. Unconfirmed reports suggest that she was too unwell to perform. At around 9:30pm, a black limo was seen bringing Janet back to her tour bus, and they then began moving on to the next venue. So if she’s still heading to her next spot for tonight’s performance, it’s likely it was nothing too serious. But then again, you never know.

Her publicist released an official statement saying Janet had been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before the concert. She “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.

The statement says Jackson was being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about her condition.

Rihanna to launch Clothing Line

Our favourite Gurl Rihanna is set to design a range of clothing, having dabbled in fashion earlier this year when she created a design for charity.

The singer, who is frequently seen looking fabulous at runway shows, says that she is “definitely” designing a range of clothing but refused to give any more details. “I can’t say when it will be released, but it’s definitely going to happen,” she told WWD at the Gucci show in Milan. “I’m not one to rush into anything. I want to take my time.”

Rihanna took part in a project earlier this year called ‘Fashion Against Aids’ in which she teamed up with the H&M chain to design for a range that included hoodies and T-shirts.

In addition, she partnered with Totes to design a range of fashion-conscious umbrellas.
