Eva Mendes: Dont compare me to JLo!

Actress Eva Mendes has spoken out at comparisons to fellow Latina actress Jennnifer Lopez, insisting her career is “more serious”.

Eva Mendes has made a name for herself in Hollywood with roles in box office blockbusters like Training Day, and Hitch, compared to Jennifer Lopez who literally has an empire in music, acting and fashion. But Eva says she’s more attentive and dedicated to her own chosen profession. She says,

“I would like to think I will have a more serious career than J.Lo. We may both be of Latin origin but that’s where the comparisons stop. She manages her career like the head of a big corporation, whereas the only thing I care about is becoming the best actress possible.”

Britney Spears has opened up about her last year of turbulant times – She reveals in an exclusive documentary for  MTV that she now looks back and thinks “What the hell was I thinking!”  – But her focus now is on the future and her comeback which if by the looks of her actions now, sets to be one of the biggest!…..So speaking of comebacks – Im still holding on for Lauryn Hill and Whitney…Cos I mean, if Britney can do it, theres HOPE for them all. LOL!

Cadillac Records Exclusive Album Cover!

So the films almost here (Dec 5th) and the hype is slowly beginning. Beyonce’s new Bio-pic film Cadillac records where she portrays singing legend Etta James alongside co-stars Adrian Brody, Gabrielle Union and Mos Def is set to be one of the films of the year. But first to come will be the Album, in which Beyonce wrote and sings on four of the songs. Hmmmm…Should be an interesting view and listen )

Toni Braxton Out for Birthday!

Singer Toni Braxton was spotted out this week in Beverly Hills this week celebrating her 41st Birthday at Mr Chows restaurant.

Toni who is currently starring on Americas Dancing with The Stars, and who has a new single out next month followed by a new album, looked glam, chic and carefree. She was with her husband Kerri and friends. I have to say she looks freaking amazing for 41!
