Interview Exclusive: BLEE (Artist,Producer,Extraordinaire!)

For my latest Exclusive interview I sat down and talked to an up and coming artist (rapper) by the name of Blee.

I first met Blee some months ago and we hit it off instantly! I was struck by his refreshing and unique outlook on life and amazed by his wealth of talent; not just musically but right across the creative board. A native of the Caribbean island of Montserrat and now residing here in the UK, he is self-taught and self reliant in all his ventures - In fact he is the perfect example of never judging a book by its cover; Never succumbing to the stereotypical outlandish boasts about his gains and possessions but rather embracing his personal uniqueness, heritage and consciousness with a quiet confidence that never gives way to uncontrolled sparks. In fact, he’s a sweetheart and once you start talking to him you find he’s actually quite the joker with an infectious sense of humour and smile that Im sure will leave many ladies hooked!

Now set to release his latest album this Autumn “The Black Lion Chronicles Chapter 2: Respect Your Legacy” he really is someone you need to look and listen out for as his impact on the music industry is sure to be one to change the game completely! Whats going on everybody my name is Steph Jones and i am a young southern boy from Houston, Texas. I am a Singer/Songwriter/Producerand a bunch of other things but first and foremost I am a true lover of real music… meaning music that comes from the soul. that is what my music is all aboout… That real good feel good.

How long have you been Singing?
I’ve been trying to be a singer my whole life but my mom was a big fan of “SHUTUP” in the house so i didn’t realise i could sing until i got into college, so i would say about 6 years now.

Man Of The Week: An Interview with Model Duke Dadzie…

Duke Dadzie is a London born Model and someone I’v know for a little while now. While still in his early 20’s, he is every bit of a man; and also one of the most down to earth, sweetest and funniest  guy’s I’v come across and I have even had the priviledge of working with him. Not just a pretty face, he is intelligent, ambitious and knows exactly what he wants. Flawless in the flesh (yes, ladies he’s even better looking than these pics on the page lol!), but still maintaining a boyish charm, I’v long predicted that Duke will go on to be one of the the UK’s biggest model exports we’ve ever seen. So I decided to sit down with Duke and quiz him for all those answers Im sure you wanna know…

So Duke tell Gurl About Town readers who you are?

Hey Gurl About Town, thanks for having me first of all! Well I’m Duke, a young and upcoming male model based in London. I am fairly new to the modelling game, I just decided to take up modelling as a career early last year as I was rather fortunate to get a head start by being crowned 2nd runner up in the 2007 Mr Supligent competition. That gave me quite abit of exposure and its just picked up from there really.

Where does the name Duke come from?

Duke is actually my father’s name, I just got the name passed down to me lol…whether it was a matter of him not being able to think of a more suitable name for me or not, thats what I ended up with in the end I guess lol!…As far as i know there is no special or symoblic meaning behind my name, I believe Duke is commonly known to be nobleman of high rank. Not quite the most accurate definition of myself though haha!
