The Oscar’s 2009 Highlights.

Cast Of Slumdog Millionaire - Oscar Winners.

The 81st Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held last night at Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. It was a triumphent night for us BRITS and predicted overall winner Slumdog Millionaire, who altogether walked away with 8 Oscars. Kate Winslet finally got her Oscar after a previos 6 nominations and the most deserved Oscar winner in my view was Sean Penn for Milk – he is without a doubt one of the most incredible actors of our day.

Kate Winslet – Best Actress
Sean Penn – Best Actor
Penelope Cruz – Best Supporting Actress
Heath Ledger – Best Supporting Actor
Best Director / Film – Danny Boyle / Slumdog Millionaire.

But we dont care about the awards! We just wanted to see who was wearing what lol! I must say there were some questionable ensembles going on, but rather than dwell on that I thought I’d highlight  my faves from the night. Enjoy!…

Kanye & Amber Rose Hit London Fashion Week.

Kanye West & his new beau model Amber Rose have been spotted all over Mercedes Benz Fashion week shows and after parties in the States this week and have now brought their rising presence to London, attending todays Vivienne Westwood Red Label Show in the City. They are an interesting pairing to say the least….while some have critiscised Amber Rose’s less than conventional looks, I actually think the half Italian, half Cape Verdean model is very pretty and am loving her constant revolving shade styles. She looked beautiful in a soft pink figure hugging dress with the hottest pair of heels Iv seen this month! Where do I start….First of all the pics are pretty cool, But you almost dont notice the ads actually for Louis Vuitton cos your soo taken by Madonna…Is is it right she’s 50 and posing like this? How does a 50 year old look this good, How the hell is she 50?!! lol!

Whatever the case maybe, Just taking the pics for what they are, I like it. I mean, Louis Vuitton didnt feature Madonna in their ads to have her look like Mother Teresa. She’s doing what she does best…being Madonna. And wouldnt you if you were getting paid £6.5million! …Get your money girl!

Victoria Beckham escorted her husband David to a dinner party for AC Milan in Dubai yesterday and as always, she completely stole the show. She looked gorgeous! Fashion forward and unashamed as always. I love the dress, the shoes and even the detailed hair band; and OMG! Did I mention the shoes??… ) I love this woman.
